Planning the next stage
The design and planning work for Stage 2 of the development is now underway. This builds upon the agreed master plan for the site. It will include the rejuvenation of the heritage building on the south-east corner of 2-50 Elizabeth Street and the construction of an eight-storey commercial building immediately adjacent to the railway line. We would like to submit the Stage 2 planning permit mid to late 2018.
We can introduce you to the concept designs for Stage 2 works at the community engagement events, where you can share your initial thoughts on the design.
Once the Stage 2 planning permit is lodged you will have the opportunity to make an official submission directly to the City of Melbourne in the same way as you did for Stage 1.
